Hywel is the ASEAN Director of Systems Engineering. In this role, he is responsible for leading the team of system engineers across the region and providing security advisory to the clients. Prior to his current role, he led the UK Systems Engineering Enterprise team.
With more than over 25 years of experience, Hywel has built a wealth of knowledge in Product Development, Product Management and Systems Engineering. During this time, he has helped some of the world’s largest and most regulated organisations successfully address their cyber security challenges.
Prior to joining Symantec, Hywel also worked with other leading cyber security vendors in Blue Coat and McAfee.
Hywel holds a Bachelor of Science in Computing from Coventry University in the UK and is both a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).
