As the head of Digital Services for Ericsson North America, Tomas Ageskog leads the team delivering 4G and 5G digital services to operators, including core and orchestration. In this role, Ageskog is responsible for all hardware and software related to digital business systems, analytics, order management, inventory, assurance, core/IP, cloud infrastructure and virtual network applications, as well as transformation services, such as consulting, systems integration and IT operations.
Ageskog joined Ericsson in 1994. Prior to his current role, he served as head of a corporate restructuring program reporting to the company CEO. Prior to that he was global head of the OSS/BSS software and services growth area and headed various global portfolio positions within consulting and systems integration. Ageskog has also been based in the United Kingdom, Singapore and Taiwan in key positions working with customers including the Vodafone Group, Singtel Group and FarEasTone/AT&T.
Ageskog holds a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Chalmers University of Technology, which included studies at the University of California at Berkeley.
