Angela Medez is a market analyst at IDC responsible for monitoring and forecasting the use and shipments of mobile phones, tablets, and wearables in the Philippines. Angela's role includes tracking and data analysis of the client device market and report writing of data gathered through engagements with vendors and channel partners. She also participates in local or regional consulting projects, answering queries and presentation of findings to clients, and co-produces or assists in press releases, media queries, and appearances.

Prior to joining IDC, Angela has six years of work experience in finance. She also has research experience in the financial services and consumer goods industry, where she focused on interpretation and analysis of finance–related data, competitor analysis, and product sourcing of goods.

Angela holds a bachelor’s degree in management accounting from the University of Santo Tomas and a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from La Consolacion College.
