Michael is the EMEA Cyber Protection lead and Security Technology officer for Accenture. In this combined role Michael helps clients strategize, implement, and operate their Security defenses against the ever-changing threats and help our client look forward to what Security needs to be to maintain that posture within the continuous changing technology & business landscape

As of 2023 Michael serves as the EMEA Security Technology Officer for Europe helping drive ecosystem collaboration across Europe and evangelizing how the world and the security landscape will change with the adoption of new/future technology evolution.
Prior to his current role, Michael was the Security Market Unit Director for the BeNeLux and France, based in the Netherlands.

Michael has over 30 years of IT experience and has been active in the information Security domain for the last 24 years.
