Luca Pugliese is the Italy lead for FortiGuard Incident Response. He is responsible for leading incident response engagements and helping clients prepare for cybersecurity incidents.

In 2001, Luca obtained his degree in Computer Science from the University of Pisa (Italy), with a thesis focusing on host-based Intrusion Prevention Systems. Since then, he has been working in IT Security with various roles ranging from firewall administrator to security consultant and penetration tester.

Since 2013, his focus is on forensic analysis, incident response and developing information and training to help clients improve their resiliency to security incidents.

Luca holds many SANS GIAC certifications, including GCFA, GCFE, GCWN and GRID. Furthermore, he is certified (ISC)² CISSP and ISACA CISA.
