Senior Director Operational Technology Security, Fortinet

Foad Godarzy is the Senior Director of Operational Technology Security at Fortinet, responsible for the strategic direction, vision, growth and performance of the OT practice in Canada.

As a seasoned technology executive leader with more than 22 years of technology and information security experience, he is known for driving architecture, development, implementation and securing a wide variety of IT and OT infrastructures within medium and large organizations at the global level.

He is a strategic and business-savvy technology executive with global experience leading IT/OT strategy and operations, including infrastructure, information security, managing multi-million dollar capital, and operational budgets at national and international levels. Prior to Fortinet, he was the Head of IT and OT at ENGIE Canada.

He serves on the advisory board of Protect Our Power, was a member of governing bodies of Toronto CISOs and is a former co-chair of the Toronto CIO community. He holds a Master of Computer Science degree with a specialty in Information Security from the University of Liverpool in the UK.
