Chris Lush is the Chief Technology and Wagering Officer for Woodbine Entertainment Group (WEG), formerly the Ontario Jockey Club, and the largest operator of horse racing and sports wagering in Canada.

Since originally joining Woodbine Entertainment as the Senior Vice President of Information Technology Chris’s portfolio was expanded to include Wagering and Innovation. Chris has been responsible for increasing the Global wagering footprint for Canadian racing product and introducing innovation and change to the broadcasting environment. He also runs a series of initiatives surrounding innovation to evolve and improve both the product and delivery model for pari-mutuel wagering -- including sponsoring the transformation to mobile wagering for horse racing in Canada.

Prior to joining Woodbine, Chris spent over 20 years leading technology in the investment and finance space including serving as Head of Technology Delivery for the Toronto Stock Exchange as well as leading Technology Infrastructure for HSBC Bank Canada.

Chris studied Economics and Political Sciences at the University of Ottawa followed by Technology Management at Queens University in Kingston, Ontario
