Based on the known, namely the IT mindset, we enter the OT-world, which is a world with different concepts than we know, but which we must be familiar with when the OT infrastructure suddenly becomes part of the IT department's responsibility. The convergence between OT / IT is a reality and deals with a growing number of topics such as virtual PLCs, Cloud services and distributed remote access.

The task can seem overwhelming, bordering on the unmanageable. Where to start? In this session, we focus on supplier access and the love/hate relationship with LTE/5G Industrial IoT Gateways and the back doors that are thereby created in the network.
