A seasoned IT professional with nearly two decades of experience in area of IT Infrastructure, Information Security and Governance, Urvish Acharya is currently Head – IT Governance & Risk Management at Birla Carbon, an Aditya Birla Group Company which has presence across the world.
 
Every second person we meet today is talking about IT, Cyber Security, Networks and digital transformation. Urvish has worked closely in all of these areas during his various stints in Finance, Defense, Education, Pharmaceuticals and Manufacturing sectors. By qualification, he holds B.E., an MBA in Finance along with globally recognized industry certifications CISSP, CISA, DCPLA to name a few.

During his career journey, he has delivered several key projects which had positive global impact on businesses he has been associate with. He has established excellent governance frameworks especially in areas of end point security, Operational Technologies and End user awareness.
