Securing The AI Journey

Join us for Security Day - a full day of Insights - Inspiration & Networking.

Security Day is Fortinet's annual flagship event, where you can listen to a mix of keynotes and deeper technical sessions. In short, there is something for everyone.

Fortinet Security Day 2026 brings together experts, customers, and decision-makers to discuss how cybersecurity can be built as an integrated whole that supports the business and creates value.

How do we build cybersecurity that can withstand a reality where AI is changing both how we defend ourselves – and how threats evolve?

AI gives organizations new opportunities to detect, analyze, and respond to threats faster. At the same time, the technology gives attackers new tools to automate attacks, identify vulnerabilities, and adapt at an entirely different scale.

At the heart of the day is therefore not just technology, but insights, new perspectives, and inspiring discussions about how we can understand the evolving threat landscape, identify risks earlier, and use AI to strengthen security, resilience, and competitiveness.

This is your opportunity to meet experts, fellowminded working with AI, IT and cybersecurity. Do not miss out the opportunity to learn, connect and prepare for the future.

We are looking forward to see you at Harpa.

Cyber threats are evolving faster than ever — and AI is accelerating the pace. In this session, Mikael Gustafsson from Fortinet explores the latest developments in the global threat landscape and what they mean for businesses.

Drawing on insights from FortiGuard Labs, he will look at how threat intelligence can help organisations move from reacting to incidents to anticipating risks, making better security decisions and strengthening business resilience.

Every vendor has a platform. Half of them changed their answer in the last 18 months. In this session, Shiraz Valji cuts through the noise and asks the question nobody else is asking: how do you know if what you're buying is actually a platform or just a catalogue with a login page? No marketing slides. Just clarity.

FortiOS 8.0 lets organisations classify AI tools as sanctioned or unsanctioned, block unsanctioned use and detect AI-agent traffic, while FortiAnalyzer 8.0 turns this into shadow-AI reporting for leadership. FortiAIOps brings AI into day-to-day network operations, detecting issues early and shortening the path from symptom to root cause. Finally, we look at a Fortinet AI agent that lets engineers work with FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer and EMS from their own PC, using the language model of their choice, public or private.

We say we want security. Then we click “Accept All”, reuse a familiar password, and paste something sensitive into the nearest AI tool, usually without a second thought. Most of us are not careless. We are conflicted.

As organizations move further along the AI journey, the technology keeps getting smarter. The humans using it remain wonderfully, stubbornly human: shaped by biology, habit, stress and the pull of convenience. This closing keynote takes a closer look at the human layer of security, and at why knowing what is safe and doing what is safe so often turn out to be two very different things.

Expect a few uncomfortable truths, some unexpected help from behavioral biology, and a different way of thinking about the people we are trying to protect, including ourselves.
