In this workshop, participants learn how Web Services APIs enable organizations to fully leverage the benefits of these dynamic architectures while offering an efficient communications method that  promotes  a  robust and  automated  Fortinet Security  Fabric.    Understanding  the  structure, function,  and  communication  mechanisms  of  these  APIs  is  critical  for  developing  any  custom interfaces.

Participants who attend this workshop will learn how to:

• Benefit from Leveraging Fortinet’s APIs.
• Use Fortinet’s native automation tools via webhooks to interact with other security vendors.
• Interface with FortiManager and FortiGate API endpoints using documentation on Fortinet Developer Network (FNDN).

Who should attend? Customers and partners involved in the administration and design of Fortinet security solutions. The goal of this workshop is to learn more about the value and ease of deployment of a dynamic security infrastructure using Web Services APIs. No prior knowledge is required. The commitment for attendees is approximately six hours and will follow a tailored agenda that covers theory and practice with assisted labs. Each participant will be offered its own self-contained lab environment for an optimal learning experience.
