Secure Manufacturing: Simplify Security in an Era of Increased Threats

Digital acceleration is driving manufacturing and supply chain operations online, improving efficiency, and at the same time, expanding the attack surface.  This increased connectivity isn’t lost on the threat actor. As industrial environments incorporate digital devices and tightly integrate with corporate networks, cyber criminals find new pathways to exploit vulnerabilities in critical production systems. To protect these complex environments, manufacturing organizations need to harness the power of network segmentation and network access controls to secure their devices, systems and users. Integrating security across IT and OT networks can be achieved through a cybersecurity mesh architecture.  During this session, manufacturing veteran Fabio Paim will address strategy and use of network access control and segmentation to support the cybersecurity requirements for manufacturing leveraging the Fortinet Security Fabric.
