Rick Mashburn is the Senior Director of Carrier & Service Provider Systems Engineering. In this role, he leads an SE team dedicated to assisting Carriers and Service Providers in engineering and deploying a wide range of security solutions including NFV-based offers. Fortinet’s Carrier & Service Provider SE team has been involved in multiple testing evaluations designed to validate interoperability with various orchestration solutions. Over a 15 year career in data networking, Rick has had the opportunity to work directly with a broad range of Tier-1 Carriers and MSSPs. Prior to Fortinet, Rick held various technical roles at AT&T and Checkpoint.
