Governments around the world are issuing new regulations for cybersecurity risks. In the United States, for example, the New York Department of Financial Services, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Transportation Security Administration, and the Cyber and Infrastructure Security Agency are among the growing roster of agencies issuing new requirements. What gives? After all, it's not like these risks are new--organizations and their information security pros have been dealing with them for ages. Stanford researcher and former senior White House cyber official Andrew Grotto will describe the shifts, what's motivating them, and help executives plan ahead for where cyber policy is headed. |
