As the senior vice president of International Sales and Services, Pedro Paixão leads the Fortinet operations in Latin America, the Caribbean and Canada.

Under his leadership, the team has grown into a highly successful division, with annual sales consistently exceeding targets. Paixão manages sales, engineering and marketing organizations in more than 30 countries.

Paixão joined Fortinet as the Latin American regional director in 2007. Since then, he has been responsible for establishing a strong regional presence, broadening the company’s network of channel partners for increased sales and enhancing operational activities in the region.

He has more than 25 years of experience working with leading cybersecurity companies, where he has held executive positions in tech and sales. He began his career by co-founding Sulnet, an Internet Service Provider and integrator and distributor of information technology systems, followed by two other companies in the same field, Sol-S and Netmaster. He was also the previous Systems Engineer at Check Point. Since then, Paixao has won numerous awards for his work in developing security and software technologies.

Paixao graduated from the Instituto Superior Técnico in Portugal with a specialization in Electrotechnical and Computer Science Engineering. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
