Pedro Romão has a vast and broad experience in networking, telecommunications and cybersecurity. Across his 20+ years in the market, he held positions in post- and pre-sales areas as a SE, SE manager, Pre-Sales Consultant or Senior Solution Architect, working in leading companies in the technology and telecommunication sectors like HP, Ericsson or Vodafone, which have granted him a unique and invaluable insight.

Before joining Fortinet in 2018, he worked in Telcos for more than 10 years. In Vodafone, he helped design and create Vodafone Portugal’s MSSP solution, which at the time of his departure was already the fastest growing in the Portuguese market.

Mr. Romão graduated from Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon as a Computer Science and Systems Engineer and achieved many prestigious industry certifications. He speaks fluent Portuguese, English and Spanish, and his hobbies include World History and Archaeology and a lifelong passion for the Film Industry, having participated in two short films as an actor and attended actor and scriptwriting workshops.
