Sam Van Ryder is the Director, Strategic Accounts at Dragos. Sam started his career in mechanical engineering and has accumulated over 20 years of experience in sales, including 10 years focused on industrial control systems security (ICS) specifically. Most recently, he led the energy team for Tripwire, where he worked to build a non-intrusive and highly-robust security option in operational environments (OT) for energy verticals impacted by NERC CIP. Previously, he was a Major Account Director for large energy accounts at Hewlett Packard Enterprise Security Products. Sam is the co-founder of HOU.SEC.CON and is a board member of the country’s largest InfraGard chapter in Houston.
