Matt Virus is a Principal OT Security Engineer at Armis, focused on securing mission-critical and cyber-physical environments across federal and defense sectors. With nearly two decades of experience in industrial networking and operational technology, he specializes in asset visibility, segmentation, and risk reduction across complex OT and ICS environments.

Prior to Armis, Matt spent nearly 20 years at Cisco designing and supporting ruggedized networking, industrial wireless, and secure OT architectures for critical infrastructure. Today, he works with DoD and federal organizations to modernize legacy environments, improve resilience, and operationalize security in real-world cyber-physical systems.
