Andy Dold is the Chief Information Security Officer for the City of Detroit, where he oversees the cybersecurity strategy and protections for the municipal government. He transitioned to this leadership role following his time as an incident response professional with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).

His professional background also includes experience as an ICS Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst at BASF and more than six years at Wayne State University developing their Incident Response capabilities.

In the academic and athletic communities, Andy serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Detroit Mercy and as an assistant basketball coach at University of Detroit Jesuit. He also serves as a radio color analyst for Wayne State Men’s Basketball.

Andy holds a master’s degree in information assurance and lives with his family in the Detroit’s West Village.
