This Foundational Workshop commences with an in-depth exploration of the procedures necessary for the successful preparation and deployment of Fortinet’s SD-WAN solution utilizing FortiManager. The instructors will guide participants through a curriculum that combines lecture and lab formats, designed to replicate the expectations of a new SD-WAN deployment. Participants will acquire hands-on experience in the creation of templates, template groups, and variables, as well as methodologies for device provisioning. Upon full configuration of the devices, the workshop will pivot its focus towards a detailed analysis of typical SD-WAN and ADVPN concepts, with the ultimate goal of enhancing understanding of the solution’s underlying mechanics. The instructors will navigate participants through a curriculum that emphasizes key configuration items, elucidates configuration behaviors, and explores alternative configurations. This workshop serves as a preparatory stage for the subsequent workshop, “Experience Fortinet’s Latest Advancements: SD-WAN, ADVPN, and Overlay Technologies.”
