Munther is a Senior Technical Trainer at Fortinet who has been with the organization for four years. In total, he has been with Fortinet for seven years.

Prior to re-joining Fortinet in 2018, Munther acted as an independent security and network consultant.

He is a former routing CCIE who spent 37 years in sales engineering, consulting sales engineering and architectural consultative roles. He also took on a product marketing manager for two years.

Munther developed his IPv4 routing skills back when customers were transitioning to faster-converging interior routing protocols and pushing the likes of Cisco and Juniper to develop more flexibility in BGP4.

Munther has always been keenly interested in sharing with customers, prospects and internal personnel, practical technological concepts and product features in network- and host-security, as well as intra- and inter-networking environments.

Munther particularly enjoys the face-to-face professional and personal synergistic interaction with customers, partners and Fortinet employees, when conducting NSE4, NSE5 and NSE7 classes. Munther has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of San Francisco in computer science and mathematics Munther enjoys cardio and weight training, reading a variety of material, as well as tennis.
