Arriving By Train 

• The nearest train station is Cheltenham Station, located on the Frankston Line. From there, it’s just a short trip to the course.
• A free shuttle bus service will run regularly between Cheltenham Station and The Royal Melbourne Golf Club from Wednesday - Sunday event week, making it simple to get to and from the venue. 
• The shuttle bus operates between 7:45AM - 6:45PM on Saturday 6th December and the journey is approximately 5 min drive to Royal Melbourne Golf Club.

Arriving By Taxi / Rideshare

• Taxi and rideshare drop-offs and pick-ups will be available on Reserve Road next to the Gate 1 Course Entrance.

Access via Gate 1

• We recommend that you enter the Golf Course via Gate 1, which is the main entrance to the Australian Open.
• When you enter via Gate 1 this will bring you into the Event Village (19th Hole). 
• From here, please walk through the Event Village (19th Hole), the Royal Melbourne Clubhouse will be on your right. You will reach the practice putting green.  
• Please turn right as you reach the putting green, and follow the public walkway up the 12th Fairway until you reach the Fortinet Unit.

Fortinet Unit 

• The Fortinet Unit is located by the 12th Fairway and is just a short walk from the Event Village (19th Hole). The Fortinet Unit is marked FB on the below site map.
