ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
The DS Automobiles Italian Open is the national open golf championship of Italy, and it was established in 1923. After a hiatus between 1960 and 1971, the event has been held every year since the inception of the DP World Tour.
It is one of the DP World Tour's most historic events, and it has also proven among the most popular with spectators in recent years.
Robert MacIntyre is the defending champion after he overcame U.S. Open winner Matt Fitzpatrick in a play-off to win the 2022 DS Automobiles Italian Open and underline his match play credentials at the iconic venue. This year we will see some of the best golfers in the world battle it out on the 2023 Ryder Cup course.
