We are delighted to invite you to Flag The Hack, an exclusive event presented in partnership with the UAE Cybersecurity Council.
Flag The Hack is a one-of-a kind experience that promises a friendly and insightful competition between several teams consisting of talented cybersecurity professionals from across the UAE. You will be representing yourself and the randomly assigned team to test your skills and win the competition.
- Fortinet customers: will be able to practice their search, investigation and forensics skills in teams, while performing a “purple team exercise” in real-world cybersecurity scenarios.
- Handpicked Participants: We have carefully selected a group of seasoned professionals like yourself, ensuring a high level of expertise and knowledge sharing in the area of SOC and Incident Response.
- Randomly Mixed Groups: To foster collaboration and diverse problem-solving, participants will be grouped randomly, providing a dynamic and challenging experience.
- No Corporate Competition: This event is not about company rivalries; it's about celebrating individual and collective excellence in the realm of cybersecurity. Leave your corporate affiliations at the door and join us for a day of friendly competition.
Event Requirements:
- Prerequisites:
- Monitoring security alerts and events in real-time.
- Understanding of host-based security controls and endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools.
- Knowledge in using SIEM & SOAR tools.
- Knowledge of log analysis, correlation, and incident response procedures.
- Integration of threat intelligence into security monitoring and incident response.
- Analysing patterns and trends to identify potential security incidents.
- Understanding of MiTRE ATT&CK framework
- Participants are required to bring their own laptops and power supply
