Mike joined World Wide Technology in September 2010 after 25 years of government service at the National Security Agency. As the Vice President of Security Solutions, Mike leads a team of senior security experts and former CISO’s that work across our Global Enterprise, Public Sector, and Service Provider sales organizations to provide value to our customers.

Under Mike's leadership, WWT's Security practice has seen an average 40+% YoY growth with top line revenue exceeding $1B in 2020. WWT’s Security practice caters to a wide range of customers including Fortune 1000 enterprises in the global finance, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, telecommunications, and technology sectors, as well as large Federal, state, and higher education organizations.

Prior to his current role, Mike was the Vice President of Emerging Technologies, working closely with our big data, security, and software-defined networking teams, and the Vice President of WWT Advanced Solutions, responsible for sales and services offerings across the Federal Intelligence Community.

As a member of the Senior Executive Service at the NSA, Mike led the design and development of next-generation cyber systems including real‐time systems, situational awareness tools, and command and control capabilities. He has held various technical and leadership positions in the areas of systems development, mathematics and cryptography. As a Technical Director within the Mission Capabilities Group, he led a team of several hundred software engineers across nearly 35 software projects. In this role, he also co-developed a new agile software development operations framework for the National Security Agency which standardized NSA’s approach toward designing, building and operating complex software systems.

He is a graduate of the NSA’s Director Leadership Program and Senior Technical Development Program and has received several honorary awards including the Presidential Rank Award for Meritorious Executive Service, two Meritorious Civilian Service Awards, and the Deckert-Foster Excellence in SIGINT Engineering Award. He holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Mathematics from the State University of New York at Albany.
