Join us on April 1st for an exclusive look inside the final weekend of college basketball's main event with one of the biggest names in all of basketball, Kenny “The Jet” Smith. Known not only for his standout career at the University of North Carolina, Kenny is a former NBA Champion with the Houston Rockets and one of the stars of TNT’s Inside the NBA, winner of 11 Sports Emmys. ​

With the field of teams down to the last four, Kenny will take you inside all the upsets and buzzer beaters that have taken place to date, while previewing each of the semi-final match ups that lie ahead. Kenny will also share some of his fondest memories of being teammates with Michael Jordan at UNC and some of the most important lessons he learned from playing under legendary Coach Dean Smith. ​

The event will conclude with guests having the opportunity to ask Kenny about who he thinks will emerge victorious in this year’s tournament, what it’s really like to sit alongside Charles Barkley and Shaq on the set of Inside the NBA and anything else basketball or tournament related.

Talent Bio: Kenny “The Jet” Smith is a former NBA player and current commentator on the Emmy award winning show Inside the NBA on TNT. Smith also works as an analyst for CBS during March Madness.​

The Jet’s career was launched at the University of North Carolina where he was named a consensus All-American in his senior season. His NBA career was just as exceptional. Smith was 2x NBA champion, as well as a1988 All-Rookie team member, In his storied career career “The Jet” accumulated 9,397 points, 1,454 rebounds, and 4,073 assists. He also won gold at the FIBA World Championship with team USA. ​

Earlier in his broadcasting career, Smith worked as an analyst for MSG Network’s broadcasts of New York Knicks games from 2005-2008. In 2015 Kenny and his family appeared on their own show called The Smiths. Smith recently launched the Jet Academy which provides a virtual online basketball camp experience for kids. ​
