As we sail into this year’s summit, what’s in store?
Innovation. Performance. Resilience.
Tune in to the Fortinet Live Studio where we will discuss how organizations deal with the effects of the continuing Covid-19 crisis, how asset owners in every industry are balancing the competing needs of productivity and safety, whilst facing threats of cyber-attack and ransomware far beyond anything we have seen before. Dealing with these challenges is at the heart of Fortinet Secure OT 2021, looking at OT cybersecurity from three angles: innovation, performance, and resilience.
Studies have shown a surge in cyber-attacks in the last year, including a ten-fold increase in ransomware. Factories, pipelines, and other critical infrastructure have all been targeted. Next-generation OT cybersecurity is becoming available that helps protect these assets with high-performance solutions that increase the resilience of production facilities. The live plenary session of Secure OT 2021 will be held on 09 November from 10:00 to 12:00 CET. It will be followed by mini-webinars on 10, 16, and 18 November focused on specific threats like ransomware, supply chain threats, and remote access attacks.

Keynote Session
Samuel Linares from Accenture will talk about how critical industries are implementing technologies that enable innovation, drive performance, and build resiliency in OT environments.
The Great Debate Part 1
Real-world experiences – our panel of OT asset owners will provide their observations on balancing innovation, performance, and resilience and give advice on best practices.
The Great Debate Part 2
Roles and responsibilities – our panel of control system vendors will provide their perspective on the boundaries of ownership in ICS/SCADA cybersecurity and how to get all stakeholders working towards the same goal of ensuring production environments are safe and resilient.
Securing these environments can be complicated - but Fortinet can help
Speakers

David Kurk and Joe Sarno introduce Secure OT 2021. Innovation, performance, and resilience.

10:10 - 10:20 CET
What are the cybersecurity issues that the industry faces in OT? What are the key solutions and tactics for protecting production environments? Joe Robertson will set the scene.

10:20 - 10:45 CET
This panel debate, composed of asset owners, will focus on OT security and the best practices that we should all be aware of in a production environment.

Moderator:
10:45 - 10:55 CET
Joe Robertson focuses on two key elements to OT Security: visibility and segmentation.

10:55 - 11:20 CET
What aspects of cybersecurity for ICS/SCADA environments are the responsibility of the control vendor, the asset owner, or the integrator? How do we get everyone working towards the same goal of protecting production? The control vendors will focus on these different topics during this debate.

Moderator:

11:20 - 11:30 CET
Joe Robertson looks at other elements of a total OT security solution: ensuring only authorized users and devices can access the industrial network.

11:30 - 11:50 CET
For our keynote address, Samuel Linares takes a look at how over the past decade OT security has become a hot topic in the boardroom and at C-level. They have recognized the importance of protecting production from cyberattack, and are investing resources in cybersecurity for their industrial infrastructure. He will explore how OT Security will contribute with real value to the business, how it will be integrated into governance and performance management from the field all the way to the boardroom, and demonstrate how OT security innovation will be a key success factor in the future.

11:50 - 12:10
Antoine d'Haussy discusses further elements of OT cybersecurity, and shows how they all need to be integrated into a holistic fabric covering the entire OT - and IT – environment.

12:10 - 12:20 CET
Joe Sarno and David Kurk discuss the key take-aways from the second annual Fortinet Secure OT 2021.
