Today’s cyberscape is characterized by persistence at an industrial scale, operating at machine speed, powered by agentic AI and quantum decryption. Our adversaries now use agentic AI to develop, orchestrate and automate campaigns of adaptive attacks. Simultaneously, they are capturing sensitive, regulated data, that upon the availability of powerful quantum computers, will allow them to break current encryption.
CISOs today face agentic attacks that can adapt and predict the defenders’ countermeasures, while still grappling with security basics such as patching known vulnerabilities. The recent Hugging Face attack highlights the adaptive ways agents can identify and creatively exploit vulnerabilities. Security teams are also facing a shortening of Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC) migration deadlines from 2025 to 2030.
